Tanya Berndt graduated from Antietam Jr./Sr. High School located in Berks County, PA and Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies.  After spending a brief time in the political realm, she decided to apply her marketing and interpersonal skills to a 9 year position as Business Development Coordinator for a top independent insurance agency based out of Lancaster, PA.  Her training under Sitkins International through this agency allowed her to better understand the importance of bringing value to clients which ultimately led to her motivation to become a Commercial  Insurance Risk Manager/Producer at Nottingham Insurance Agency in Yardley, PA and Hamilton, NJ. Most recently, Tanya has been promoted to Director of Sales at the Agency.

 

She adores both her Labrador retrievers and enjoys taking them for long walks in the Montgomery and Bucks County areas.  Her love of animals has driven her focus to develop a niche in the pet industry, which is one of many industries she is committed.  An exercise and fitness enthusiast, she once completed an entire full marathon. 

 

Tanya has also enjoyed public speaking throughout the years as former president of a Toastmaster's Chapter in Lancaster and a member of her alma mater's Forensics Team.  She recently earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and is currently working on obtaining her Certified Risk Management (CRM) Designation as well.  Tanya resides in Langhorne, with her husband Dave, also a Nottingham Insurance team member and her son, Alexander (Alex).
